Prof. Dr. Bahar Guntekin is full Professor in Biophysics at the Medical School of Istanbul Medipol University, Istanbul, Turkey. She is an associate member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences. Chair of ISTAART Electrophysiology Professional Interest Area of Alzheimer's Association. Officer of the International Organization of Psychophysiology. Her research focuses on studying brain excitability, connectivity, and plasticity changes in patients with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and related diseases using neurophysiological techniques, including electroencephalography and non-invasive brain neuromodulation with sensory stimuli and transcranial electric stimulations at 40 Hz.
